Central Coast Waves Basketball: JUNIOR Domestic Competitions – WINTER 2026 (Terms 3 and 4), sponsored by Guzman y Gomez (Lake Haven and Tuggerah). Commencing 21^st July and running through to 2^nd Divisions available for both boys and girls, ages 10 to 17

Available Divisions

We offer competitive divisions for both boys and girls, catering to ages 10 to 17:

U12BOYS (Wednesday Nights)
U14BOYS (Wednesday Nights)
U16BOYS (Tuesday Nights)
U18BOYS (Tuesday Nights)
U12/14GIRLS (Wednesday Nights)
U16/18GIRLS (Wednesday Nights)

Age Eligibility

Please note, for the purpose of determining eligibility for a given age division in the Winter 2026 Domestic Competition, a player’s age is defined by the age they are turning in 2026.

Important Age Eligibility Notes

- The maximum age requirement is strict: players cannot play down an age division under any circumstances.
- The minimum age requirement is more flexible: younger players may be approved to play up an age division.
- Playing up is considered on a case-by-case basis, with player safety and development as priorities

Competition Schedule

Term 3: 21^st July to 23^rd September
School Holidays (Competition Break): 29^th, 30^th September and 6^th, 7^th October
Term 4: 13^th October to 2^nd December

Game Times

Wednesday Schedule:

U12BOYS: 5.20pm
U12/14GIRLS: 5.20pm
U14BOYS: 6.10pm and 7.00pm
U16/18GIRLS: 6.10 and 7.00pm

Tuesday Schedule:

U16 Boys: 4.30pm and 5.20pm
U18 Boys: 5.20pm and 6.10pm

Please note: Division timeslots may be subject to changes if deemed necessary.

Registration Fee

All Junior Divisions: $275.00 per player

Basketball NSW Membership Requirements

All players must hold a valid Basketball NSW (BNSW) Player + Club Affiliation membership. The following prices include the $5.50 Basketball Australia levy:

6-Month Membership:

Ages 12 and Up: $95.50
Ages 8-11: $74.50
Under 8s and Volunteers: $37.00

12-Month Membership:

Ages 12 and Up: $129.50
Ages 8-11: $105.50
Under 8s and Volunteers: $58.00

Secondary Club Affiliation (for players who hold BNSW memberships through other clubs):

6-Month: $35.00 (all ages)
12-Month: $55.00 (all ages)

Note: School events and special events (family and school) are acceptable reasons for non-availability.
