DOMESTIC COMPETITION DIVISIONS
Domestic Competitions are expected to include the following ages divisions:
o Under 12BOYS
o Under 12GIRLS
o Under 14BOYS
o Under 14GIRLS
o Under 16BOYS
o Under 16GIRLS
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
Development Programs are expected to include the following:
o U10s Mixed Games (ages 8-10)
o Aussie Hoops (ages 5-10yrs)
o Little Ripples (ages 2-5yrs)
DOMESTIC COMPETITION DATES & GAME TIMES
Held weekly on Thursday afternoons, from 4pm, with youngest divisions being played first, followed by the older divisions.
Competitions and programs will run for 8 weeks, commencing the first week of School Term-4, Thursday 1st October, 2026.

2026 Term 4, AVONDALE Junior Domestic Competitions (8 Weeks)

2026 Term 4, AVONDALE Development Programs (8 Weeks)
• U10s Program (7-10yrs) = $125.00
• Aussie Hoops (5-10yrs) = $100.00
• Little Ripples (2-5yrs) = $80.00
2026 BNSW + Club Affiliation (Includes GST + $5.50 Basketball Australia Levy)
• 6-Month Membership (from date of purchase):
o Ages 12 and Up = $95.50
o Ages 8-11 = $74.50
o Under 8s and Volunteers = $37.00
• 12-Month Membership (from date of purchase):
o Ages 12 and Up = $129.50
o Ages 8-11 = $105.50
o Under 8s and Volunteers = $58.00
BNSW + Club Affiliation Fees
PLEASE NOTE: For insurance purposes, all players participating in the Central Coast Waves domestic basketball competition are required to hold a current Basketball NSW (BNSW) membership. Players must ensure their membership remains valid for the duration of the competition.
PAYMENT METHODS
All payments are processed through the Basketball Connect registration platform at the time of registration.
Competition Fees
Families can choose from two payment options:
• Pay in full – the total Competition Fee is paid at the time of registration.
• Three fortnightly instalments – the first instalment is paid immediately upon registration, with the remaining two instalments automatically deducted via direct debit from the same bank account used for the initial payment.
Instalment Payment Dates
• Instalment #1: Payable at the time of registration
• Instalment #2: Thursday, 22 October
• Instalment #3: Thursday, 12 November
BNSW Membership & Club Affiliation Fees
BNSW Membership and Club Affiliation fees are also paid through Basketball Connect at the time of registration and will appear as part of the combined registration cost.
Please note that these fees:
• Must be paid upfront and in full at the time of registration.
• Cannot be included in the instalment payment option.
Your Payment Receipt
Once registration has been completed, you will receive an itemised receipt outlining all costs, including Competition Fees, BNSW Membership and Club Affiliation fees, and the payments made.
HOW TO REGISTER
All competition and program registrations are managed through the online platform, Basketball Connect.
If you’re a new user, you can create a Basketball Connect account during the registration process. If you already have a Basketball Connect profile, simply log in to get started.
Registrations can be completed via the Basketball Connect mobile app, available for iPhone and Android, or online through the Basketball Connect website.
